Thinking activity on Existentialism

Here I am pointing out some of the thoughts which I like the most in given videos on Existentialism. 1.    What is Existentialism?    Though existentialist differ in their views on Existentialism but in a one or another way they share a basic belief of this term. From this video I like that triangle idea of freedom, individuality and passion which are the three sides of Existentialism. Breath by Samuel Beckett Samuel Beckett is considered one of the last modernist writers who gave noteworthy contribution in the “Theater of Absurd.” His later plays are extremely short, Breath is an unusually brief work. The duration of this play is only of 35 seconds. Girish Karnad and his controversy

Girish Karnad: an independent thinker and writer Girish Karnad was an Indian actor, film director, Kannada writer and playwright who predominantly worked in South Indian cinema and Bollywood. He was known for his plays Tughlaq, Hayavadana and Yayati. As a result of his greatest contribution in literature he was fascinated Padma Bhusan, and Sahitya Akadami award as well as he was also a recipient of the 1998Janpith Award, the highest literary honour conferred in India. Girish Karnad – a well known literary figure always remains in controversies.
