"Daffodils" by William Wordsworth

“The Daffodils” The most famous poem in English language “Daffodils” also known by title   “I wandered Lonely as a Cloud” is a lyric poem written by Romantic poet Laureate William Wordsworth, who along with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature with their joint publication Lyrical Ballad. In this collaborative work poetry was defined in new light which is quite different than poetic style and structure of eighteenth century. Along with the beginning of romantic era, nature was thought to be a proper subject matter for poetry as well as the much emphasis was put on use of simple language, imagination, originality and poetic freedom.
