"Othello"
"Othello" is a tragedy, believed to be written in 1603 and based on the story of Un Capitano Moro by Cinthio, first published in 1565. The play is divided into V acts and took place on a street in Venice and further plot spins around two characters named as Othello and Iago. In the play we could find that Iago wanted to get promotion, but it didn't happen to him as he was being overlooked for promotion; he started to plot against his General;Othello, the Moor of Venice. Iago conspired against Othello by using Desdemona-Othello's wife as a tool to take revenge.
In the play racism and inferiority complex governs the plot.

Plot of the Play
As I above mentioned, the play takes place in a street in Venice. The scene oepns with Roderigo who loved Desdemona and wanted to marry with her. He was talking with Iago about the elopment of Desdemona with the moor named Othello. Both of them they went to her father Senator Brabantion to inform about this incident. As soon as he became angry, Iago left and approched to Othello for giving news about Barabantion's anger and his reaction.
As a consequence they were called at Duke of Venice .Though he didn't try any magic on Desdemona and stole her heart by telling her his adventures in the great wars, as being a moor Othello was accused by Barabantion for seducing his preety daughter with magic. Followed by this event, Desdemona denied the fact and admitted that she loved the Othello and she herself has come with Othello to get married.
Meanwhile, The Duke assigned Othello as general of the defense forces against. As per order he left immidiately for Cyprus and planned out that Desdemona would join him later, following him in another ship with Iago and Emilia. This is the incident where Othello made a error of judgement, trusted Iago as a trustworthy friend.
With the flow of the narration, we came across that Iago was emerging out as villan of Othello and Desdemona's love story. He convienced upset Roderigo that they would be fed up with Othello and he could have a chance to follow to her. In order to satisfy his evil intention he used Cassio as a tool. He planted a seeds of doubt in the Othello's mind about dishonesty or disloyality of Desdemona, by saying that she also loved Cassio. After that he schemed on Cassio and made him fully drunk, having no sharp consciousness he got in fingt with Roderigo which leaded him to lose his job.Iago sympthasied him by saying that he would talk about it to Othello, then he might reinstated him his job. Iago arranged a meeting between Cassion and Desdemona at Othello's house at night and brought the Othello there when Cassion was pleading Desdemona. Having a fear of Othello, as he was his senior, Cassion left from there and Desdemona started to beg Othello for giving job back to Cassio. This entire scene was created by Iago he started to trap othello after Emilia and Desdemona left,and really it started to work, Othello trapped in his plan and became a victim of his manipulation as well.
It is the point when the famous scene of handkerchief came in the novel. As soon as Othello demanded proof of his wife's unfaithfullness, Iago used a handkerchief unknowingly dropped by Desdemona and planned it in Cassio's hand to create a scene that Desdemona loved white man Cassio. This made Othello to lead to kill Desdemona.
In between there was a quarrel between Roderigo and Cassion in street in which Iago stabed in Cassio's leg. Othello heard Cassio's cries for help, believing that half of the revenge was taken; in a anger Othello killed Desdemona in her bed without hear her voice of innocence.
When Emilia came to know about her husband's conspiracy, she revealed truth in front of Montano and Gratiano and explained how unknowingly handkerchief came into Cassio's possession. Iago order her to be quite but she didn't and therefore Iago stabbed her. Wounded Cassio confirmed Emilia's story. After hearing the story of Desdemona's innocence and fidelity and bitter truth of Iago's plot, Othello couldn't bear it. He stabbed himself and fallen down on the same bed besides Desdemona.
